BLUE THUMBS

EEEK! Some of the students are coming home with blue thumbs tonight as they had to share their fingerprints! A serious crime happened in our classroom last Friday! Somebody stole some OREO cookies from behind my desk and ripped open the desk. At this point EVERYONE is a suspect until they can convince me otherwise. The students will be writing persuasive letters trying to convince me that it is not them! I wonder who DONE it??? Hopefully we can solve this crime by the end of the week! Ms. Harrington

WELCOME BACK!

I hope that everyone had an amazing and very relaxing March Break!

We have a busy week ahead of us! This weeks word wall words are the same as the week before March Break. They are difficult words so I wanted to give them some more time to learn them. Our Word Wall Words (except, usually, used to, impossible, possible) are almost done for the year so we will soon just be focusing on a big review for the year.

MATH - we will have a quick quiz this Wednesday for addition and subtraction, Reviews will be done at school and I will be sending home a quick review sheet for homework tonight! Our next unit is on multiplication and division. Students are required to learn their facts up to 7 times tables.

LANGUAGE - We will continue working on Persuasive Writing this week. Don't be surprised if the students are trying to be very convincing at home.

SCIENCE - This week we will begin our new unit on Growth and Changes in Plants. Hopefully the weather will start to get nicer soon!

DRAMA - The children are writing "Practise Drama" in every section of their agenda's. I will be expecting that they have memorized their lines by the end of the week!

Week BEFORE March Break!!

We are half way there boys and girls! Pheeww! We are all looking forward to a little break for sure. I wish everyone a safe and happy break to spend time with family and friends. I will admit that I am super jealous of those whom are heading South!

We are wrapping up our unit on addition and subtraction this week and will have a short quiz when we get back from March Break. We will then begin multiplication! The students are excited for this.

We have also started our persuasive unit in language and have recorded Green Screen commercials. They will all be uploaded onto our Youtube channel hopefully before March break!
