Re: Hot 89.9 Contest – HOT for SENS!

We have decided to enter our class into the Hot 89.9 Contest – HOT for SENS! We will be making a class video using the Video Star App on the iPad. We will be incorporating both our Media Literacy and Music units into this fun classroom activity. Here is an excerpt directly from the Hot89.9 website:

“The New HOT 89.9 is looking for the classroom that has the HOTTEST spirit for the Ottawa Senators! We're challenging teachers and students across Ottawa to show us how HOT they truly are for the Ottawa SENS!  Whether it's classrooms decorated in RED, drawings of their favourite players hung throughout the room, wearing head-to-toe RED every day, a flash mob video supporting their love for the team, getting the principal to dress up like an Ottawa SEN for the day…. Whatever it is, we want to see how much spirit they have. The classroom who demonstrates that they have the most spirit, will win a HOT grand prize – A pair of tickets for everyone in the class (so students can bring a parent), to an Ottawa Senators HOME game (Saturday, February 7th v. Columbus), PLUS Jersey’s for the everyone in classroom!”
